Our fees are based on an agreed day rate, where a business pays for our time and expertise rather than a fee based on the placed individuals salary. A day for us is 8 hours of our time, with the time being used in periods (chunks) of time that are added up and charged accordingly.
For one organisation we agreed a £500 / day fee to handle multiple vacancies with a combined salary of £350K. Had the organisation utilised a high street recruiter who would have charged 20% placement fees, this would have cost the company £70,000 + VAT.
Our total fee was based on 15 days work, a total charge of £7,500 + VAT. A Saving of £62,500 + VAT.
Are we good at what we do? Brilliant I think is a more appropriate description.
Highly regarded in the recruitment field, we moved to support unemployed individuals setting up HtR Outplacement. We have supported not only individuals exiting organisations, but also supported the DWP (Department of Work and Pensions) employment initiatives. We were at one point chosen by Jobcentre Plus locations across the North West, South Coast and East Scotland to be their primary provider of support to professional and executive job hunters, receiving several thousand referrals per year. We achieved this primary supplier status due to the number of outcomes we achieved (people gaining employment as a direct result of our support).
More recently and for 5 years we supported the DWP Work Programme, again providing direct support to JCP Customers, but also training prime contract holders staff on CV writing, job hunting, and interview technique, many of whom were ex-recruitment consultants which reflects the high level of support we provide. When asked, staff within one prime contract holder highlighted that HtR was a provider 'they could not live without'.
People talk about values, many websites feature them, but we believe and apply them. Our company ethos is that our services need to meet individual expectations and exceed, where possible, those expectations. Only by putting customer service at the heart of what we deliver can we thrive and deliver our services effectively.
We have run the career centre for the National Graduate Recruitment Exhibitions at both the NEC and Olympia, undertake transferable skills assessment with our reports used in UK Ombudsman appeals, and who knows what the future will bring...
When first launching our recruitment website the strap line was 'excellence in recruitment'.. now it is 'excellence in all we do'.
